Airports

• Milan (Malpensa and Linate) airports:
  If your flight arrives in Milan, the best thing to do is to take a bus to Milano Centrale railway station (see e.g. http://ticketonline.malpensashuttle.it/inglese/pagine/default.cfm), and then a train to Alessandria (reservations available through the Italian railway service)
• Torino Caselle airport:
  If your flight arrived in Torino, you can take a bus to Torino Porta Nuova or a train to Torino Porta Susa railway stations. Details can be found from the airport website.
• Genoa airport:
  If your flight arrives in Genova, you can take a bus to Genova Piazza Principe railway station.

Train Service

Train service is available between Milan, Torino, and Genova. Reservations can be made through the Italian railway service.

 Of course from each airport you can rent a car. It's easy to reach Alessandria by car, since it is close to the highways A21 (from Turin) and A26 (from Genova and Malpensa).
