Conference Location

ICCBR 2015 will be held at Goethe University‘s Forschungskolleg Humanwissenschaften.

The conference location offers one lecture hall and four smaller rooms and is located in the spa gardens in the proximity of Frankfurt am Main and at the foot of the Taunus mountains. From Frankfurt it takes approximately 20 minutes by metro followed by a walk through the Kurpark to the city centre (see travel instructions).

Sightseeing

Bad Homburg nurtures its tradition as the former residence of the Landgraves of Hessen-Homburg, the summer residence of the German Emperors and their families, and as a spa town that achieved world renown in the 19th century. Traces of this rich history can be found in the Castle and its park, in the Kurpark with its listed buildings and monuments, in the quaint Old Town, or in the Landgraves’ garden landscape that stretches out into the Taunus forests.

Being located so closely to Frankfurt am Main also offers the opportunity to visit the skyline metropolis.
